Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between DV, OV and EV?
DV (Domain Validation) confirms you control the domain. OV (Organisation Validation) also verifies your business. EV (Extended Validation) carries out the most thorough business checks.
Do I need a 5-site or wildcard certificate?
Choose 5-site to secure several different domains. Choose wildcard to secure your domain and all of its subdomains.
How long does it take?
DV certificates are usually issued quickly. OV and EV take longer because your organisation needs to be verified.
